Power Wound Nickel in .045–.098 (NR4598MS) is a four-string multi-scale set.

Power Wound is nickel-plated steel wrapped over a high carbon steel hex core. It is the warm, punchy voice most people mean when they say bass strings: clear highs, strong mids and a low end with real weight behind it.

Made for multi-scale (fanned fret) basses, where every string is a different length.

String lengths: 48"–49" overall. The .077 and .098 taper at the bridge (1.5") and at the nut (38" and 39").
