Power Wound Nickel in .040–.095 (NR4095L) is the lightest four-string set we make, for a loose feel and the easiest bending.
Power Wound is nickel-plated steel wrapped over a high carbon steel hex core. It is the warm, punchy voice most people mean when they say bass strings: clear highs, strong mids and a low end with real weight behind it.
Fit: Standard long scale, for most 34" scale basses. About 37.25" usable winding length (ball end to taper), 48"–49" overall. Measurements are approximate. Made in the USA.
