Fusion Wound Stainless Steel in .045–.125 (SRB545125L) is the standard five-string set in this line, and where most five-string players start.

Fusion Wound is built in two layers. We run electricity through the string to adhere a phosphor bronze under-wrap to the core, then the stainless steel outer wrap goes on over that. The second layer and the stainless surface together make this the brightest, tightest bass string we build: hard attack, defined highs and a controlled low end.

The low B is where that definition shows most, which is why five-string players tend to end up here.
