Fusion Wound Stainless Steel in .030–.120 (SRB630120L) is the lighter of our two six-string sets.
Fusion Wound is built in two layers. We run electricity through the string to adhere a phosphor bronze under-wrap to the core, then the stainless steel outer wrap goes on over that. The second layer and the stainless surface together make this the brightest, tightest bass string we build: hard attack, defined highs and a controlled low end.
On a six-string the extra definition works at both ends — a tighter low B and a high C that stays clear instead of thinning out.
