Fusion Wound Nickel in .045–.130 (NRB545130L) is standard tension on top with a heavier .130 B, for the tightest low end in the line.

Fusion Wound is built in two layers. We run electricity through the string to adhere a phosphor bronze under-wrap to the core, then the nickel-plated steel outer wrap goes on over that. The second layer is what gives the line its voice: a firm low end with less bloom, clear highs and good separation between notes.

The low B is where that definition shows most, which is why five-string players tend to end up here.
