Fusion Wound Nickel in .030–.125 (NRB630125L) is the standard six-string set, with a heavier low B.
Fusion Wound is built in two layers. We run electricity through the string to adhere a phosphor bronze under-wrap to the core, then the nickel-plated steel outer wrap goes on over that. The second layer is what gives the line its voice: a firm low end with less bloom, clear highs and good separation between notes.
On a six-string the extra definition works at both ends — a tighter low B and a high C that stays clear instead of thinning out.
