Power Steel Stainless Steel in .018–.095 (SR121895L) is our 12-string bass set.
A 12-string bass has four courses, and each one carries a main string plus two strings tuned an octave above it. Twelve strings, four notes.
Power Steel is a stainless steel wrap over a high tension hex core. Stainless is the bright end of our bass range: harder attack, more top-end presence and a tighter low end than nickel, and it resists corrosion better, so it stays bright longer if you sweat or gig often.
Stainless makes the most of an octave bass: the octave strings are what a listener hears first, and a stainless wrap puts more chime and separation behind them than nickel does.
Standard long scale. Made in the USA.
