Fusion Wound Stainless Steel in .045–.130 (SRB545130L) is standard tension on top with a heavier .130 B, for the tightest low end in the line.

Fusion Wound is built in two layers. We run electricity through the string to adhere a phosphor bronze under-wrap to the core, then the stainless steel outer wrap goes on over that. The second layer and the stainless surface together make this the brightest, tightest bass string we build: hard attack, defined highs and a controlled low end.

The low B is where that definition shows most, which is why five-string players tend to end up here.
