Fusion Wound Nickel in .045–.105 (NRB45105L) is the standard four-string set and where most players start.

Fusion Wound is built in two layers. We run electricity through the string to adhere a phosphor bronze under-wrap to the core, then the nickel-plated steel outer wrap goes on over that. The second layer is what gives the line its voice: a firm low end with less bloom, clear highs and good separation between notes.
