Why S.I.T.?

“I first heard about S.I.T. at NAMM, where I met Tim P. We talked for a while and at the end of our conversation he handed me a set of Fusion Wound bass strings. I immediately went back to the hotel, put them on my bass, and I was hooked. The sound was exactly what I had been hearing in my head. It was the missing piece to the tone I wanted to achieve. The feel of the strings is also incredibly smooth. My hands glide effortlessly across them, and I had never experienced anything like it before. I’ve also played the Foundations and Power Wound sets, and while those are excellent strings as well, I always find myself coming back to the Fusion Wound sets. My go-to gauges are 45-105 on my four-string bass and 45-125 on my five-string bass.”
