S.I.T. Strings was founded in 1980 in Akron, Ohio, and we've been manufacturing strings here ever since.
What began as a guitar string company has grown into a manufacturer of strings for electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, classical guitar, pedal steel, and other specialty instruments.
More than 45 years later, S.I.T. Strings remains based in Akron, where our strings are manufactured today.
