About

Xander Demos is a guitarist, songwriter, and recording artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania known for his high-energy performances, technical mastery, and melodic approach to modern hard rock and metal. While many recognize Xander for his impressive shredding ability, his playing is equally defined by memorable melodies, expressive phrasing, and a commitment to serving the song.

Over the course of a career spanning more than four decades, Xander has performed and recorded with a variety of respected artists and musicians. His touring credits include appearances alongside renowned vocalists Tim 'Ripper' Owens and James Rivera, while his recording career has seen collaborations with numerous artists across the hard rock and metal communities.

In 2012, Xander released his debut solo album, Guitarcadia, which showcased his unique blend of technical guitar work, memorable songwriting, and classic hard rock influences. The album was mixed and mastered by the late C.J. Snare of FireHouse, adding another notable connection to Xander's extensive musical network.

Today, Xander fronts XDB, a hard rock and metal project known for combining soaring vocals, powerful riffs, and virtuoso guitar work. Alongside bandmates Brendan Callahan, Emily Stroup, and Rob Kane, XDB continues to build momentum with the release of their latest album, Gods of Aliens, a collection of energetic hard rock anthems that showcase the band's musicianship and songwriting.

Beyond performing and recording, Xander's influence extends into the gear world as well. His signature model guitar from McNaught Guitars comes equipped with S.I.T. Strings as original equipment, reflecting his long-standing trust in the brand and its performance.

Why S.I.T.?

“Whether on stage, in the studio, or straight from the factory on my signature McNaught Guitar, S.I.T. Strings consistently deliver the tone, feel, and reliability I need. They provide the stability and performance required for everything from melodic passages to aggressive lead work, and they've become an essential part of my sound.”
