Miyako is a guitarist, pianist, composer, and founding member of the Japanese heavy metal band LOVEBITES. Born in Osaka, Japan, Miyako developed a deep connection to music early in life, beginning piano studies at just three years old before later picking up guitar at nineteen.
Combining classical musical training with technical metal guitar playing, Miyako quickly became known for her unique blend of precision, melody, and expressive songwriting. Her strong musical background and compositional abilities helped establish her as a respected musician within Japan’s rock and metal scene.
After moving to Tokyo in 2015, Miyako continued working as both a guitarist and composer before helping form LOVEBITES in 2016. The all-female metal band quickly gained international recognition for their combination of traditional heavy metal, power metal, and technical musicianship. Since becoming a full-time member in 2017, Miyako has played a major role in shaping the band’s sound through her dynamic lead guitar work, harmonized melodies, and sophisticated compositions.
Known for her versatility across both piano and guitar, Miyako relies on S.I.T. Strings for the tuning stability, articulation, and consistency needed for demanding performances and intricate metal playing.
