Matthew Sullivan, known professionally as Sully, is a guitarist, songwriter, producer, and performer whose career spans major touring productions, Las Vegas residencies, original music projects, and tribute performances. A versatile musician with roots in both jazz and classical guitar, Sully began playing as a teenager before earning a scholarship to study Jazz Studies and Classical Guitar at Virginia Commonwealth University.
After graduating, Sully relocated to Las Vegas in the mid-1990s, where he quickly became an in-demand guitarist within the city's world-renowned entertainment scene. His work included performances in major productions and showrooms, backing acclaimed artists and appearing in productions such as KÀ, shows featuring David Cassidy, and performances with Sheena Easton. These opportunities helped launch a successful touring career that would take him across the United States and beyond.
In 2002, Sully expanded into original music by writing and producing albums with his rock band The Sullied. The band released two critically acclaimed records, Meltdown and the self-titled The Sullied, showcasing Sully's diverse influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix to classical composer Igor Stravinsky.
In 2004, Sully co-founded Bruce In The USA, a tribute production dedicated to celebrating the music of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. What began as a side project quickly evolved into one of the most successful tribute acts in North America, with more than two decades of touring throughout the United States and internationally.
Today, Sully continues to perform, tour, record, and produce while bringing his passion for great songs and exceptional guitar playing to audiences around the world.
