Mathias Lattin is a rising blues guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter from Houston, Texas whose passion for the blues began at the age of 10 after discovering the music of the legendary B.B. King. Since then, he has dedicated himself to developing his craft, earning recognition as one of the most promising young blues artists of his generation.
A 2020 graduate of Houston’s prestigious Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA), Mathias quickly established himself within the regional and national blues community. In 2018, his band UNTITLED represented the Houston Blues Society as its Youth Showcase Band at the renowned International Blues Challenge, providing an early platform for his talents on a national stage.
In February 2020, Mathias released his debut single, Notice Me, followed by his first EP, Let's Start Here, in March of the same year. These releases showcased his soulful guitar playing, expressive vocals, and modern approach to blues music while honoring the traditions that inspired him.
Today, Mathias continues to expand his musical reach as both a solo artist and performing musician. He currently serves as guitarist for the Keeshea Pratt Band and Tavia Brooks, bringing his distinctive style and energy to stages across the country while continuing to develop his own artistic voice.
