Why S.I.T.?

“To me, S.I.T. Strings is the most forward-thinking and innovative string company, constantly finding new ways to enhance and advance string instruments like the electric bass and guitar. As a bassist for over 22 years, I’ve found that S.I.T. Strings offer the lightest feel and best overall response for my instrument. My preferred sets are the Power Wound Nickel Custom Light 5-String (40-120) and Light 6-String (30-125). These strings provide exceptional longevity while maintaining their clarity and brightness over time. I particularly love the feel of nickel strings, and with S.I.T.’s Power Wound series, I often find that I don’t need to change them for long periods because they continue to sound as fresh and vibrant as the day I put them on.”
