Kostas Sotos is the lead guitarist and creative force behind U.S.-based melodic metal band Til The End. Drawing strong influence from the legendary Gothenburg melodic death metal sound, Kostas combines aggressive riffing, melodic lead work, atmospheric songwriting, and modern metal intensity into a style that balances heaviness with emotion and cinematic atmosphere.
Formed in 2023, Til The End quickly gained attention for blending melodic yet extreme guitar work, relentless drumming, haunting vocals, and unexpected ethnic influences into a distinct modern melodic death metal sound. The band debuted worldwide with the single “Higher And Beyond” in late 2024, followed by additional releases including “Cemetery Trees,” “Dark Kings,” “The Sumerian,” and the live video “Sip Of Sadness,” filmed during the band’s first European performance in Budapest.
Their debut EP Dark Kings, released in March 2025, surpassed 100,000 Spotify streams within its first year and helped establish the band within the modern melodic metal scene. In 2025, Til The End also released the single “Falling Apart,” which included a metal reinterpretation of Separate Ways by Journey.
In January 2026, the band made their U.S. live debut through a Northern East Coast tour featuring performances at venues including Lucky 13 Saloon, Dingbatz, and Broken Goblet Brewing.
Known for aggressive vibrato, expressive whammy bar work, and demanding guitar techniques, Kostas relies on S.I.T. Strings for tone, feel, and tuning stability during long performances and intense playing sessions.
