Jeff Eager is a Toronto-based guitarist, songwriter, recording artist, and touring musician whose versatility has made him one of Canada's most respected working guitarists. Equally at home in soul, rock, funk, pop, and R&B, Jeff has built a career around authentic musicianship, tasteful guitar work, and the ability to adapt seamlessly across genres.
As a touring and recording guitarist, Jeff has spent years performing with acclaimed recording artist Elise LeGrow, appearing throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. His touring experience includes opening for pop icon Rick Astley and sharing stages with renowned artists including Lenny Kravitz and Lawrence Gowan of Styx.
Today, Jeff continues to perform with Canadian artists Gary Beals and John Orpheus while also touring with Epic Eagles: The Definitive Eagles Tribute. When not performing with bands, he regularly plays solo acoustic shows throughout the Toronto area.
In addition to his work as a sideman and touring musician, Jeff is an accomplished songwriter and recording artist. His second full-length album, 2070, showcases his love of classic songwriting and analog-era production, drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Prince, Hall & Oates, Elton John, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Supertramp.
Whether performing soulful electric guitar, groove-driven rhythm work, or acoustic singer-songwriter material, Jeff relies on S.I.T. Strings for the consistency and reliability demanded by a busy touring schedule.
