About

Gus G. conquered global stages as Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist from 2009 to 2017, contributing to the Grammy-nominated album Scream (2010). As the founder of the melodic power metal band FIREWIND, he has built a legacy spanning over two decades, releasing ten studio albums and performing countless world tours across the globe.

A celebrated solo artist, Gus has delivered acclaimed releases such as I Am the Fire (2014), Brand New Revolution (2015), and Quantum Leap (2021). In addition to his own projects, he has appeared as a guest on albums by Bruce Dickinson, Arch Enemy, Doro Pesch, In This Moment, and more.

Beyond the stage, Gus has collaborated with leading gear companies to develop his own line of signature equipment, further cementing his status as one of metal’s most respected innovators. Featured on the covers of major guitar magazines including Guitar World, Young Guitar, Total Guitar, and Guitar Player, Gus has earned accolades such as Golden God “Best Shredder” and Metal Hammer Germany’s “God of Riffs.” In a world where only the best rise to the top, Gus G. stands among the elite.

Gus is currently working on two new albums — his fifth solo record, a blend of instrumental music and collaborations with legendary metal vocalists (TBA), and the eleventh studio album from FIREWIND, slated for release in 2026, followed by a world tour.

Why S.I.T.?

“I need strings that can take the beating of a heavy metal show and stay in tune through different temperature changes that touring musicians experience. Not only does S.I.T. live up to its name, but the strings feel super slinky and cut through the mix — both in a live setting and in the studio.”

Strings Built For Players

Made in Akron, Ohio for musicians who need tone, feel, and tuning stability they can count on.
