About

Blues-Rock Guitarist • Singer • Songwriter

For more than three decades, Eric Jerardi has built a career around soulful guitar playing, powerful songwriting and an unmistakable blend of blues, rock and soul.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Jerardi has released ten nationally distributed recordings since 1997, developing a signature sound rooted in expressive guitar work, deep grooves and emotionally driven performances.

His acclaimed 2019 album Occupied was produced by legendary producer David Z, whose credits include Prince, Etta James and Jonny Lang. Recorded alongside members of the famed Muscle Shoals rhythm section, the album showcased Jerardi at his most soulful and mature, earning praise for its depth, groove and authenticity.

Jerardi now enters a new chapter with The Game, an album born from an unusual songwriting challenge: write 12 songs in 12 weeks using a different phrase assigned each week. What began as a creative exercise became one of the most personal records of his career.

The Game captures Jerardi in a rawer and more immediate setting. The album also features the unmistakable Muscle Shoals backing vocals of Cindy Walker and Marie Lewey, further connecting the project to the deep soul and blues traditions that have influenced Jerardi throughout his career.

At the center of it all remains the guitar and his tone.

Jerardi's playing combines blues vocabulary, rock energy and soulful restraint. His performances can move from subtle, atmospheric phrasing to aggressive, soaring leads while always serving the song. That combination of tone, touch and feel has made his guitar sound one of the defining elements of his music.

Eric has also been a proud member of the S.I.T. Strings Artist Family for more than 15 years, relying on S.I.T. Strings both in the studio and onstage throughout an important period of his career.

Beyond music, Jerardi is also known for his longtime passion for wine. At Jerardi's Little Store in Dayton, Ohio, he has built a destination where music, wine and conversation intersect. Those worlds come together in his Backroom Blues & Bottles series, pairing intimate musical performances with another of his lifelong passions.

Whether he's standing beneath stage lights, recording a new song or simply sitting with a guitar searching for the next phrase, Eric Jerardi continues to approach music the same way he always has: with honesty, soul and a commitment to connection.

Why S.I.T.?

“I'm incredibly proud to have been part of the S.I.T. Artist Family for more than 15 years. As a guitarist, your strings are where everything starts—the feel, the response and ultimately the tone coming through your hands. I need strings I can trust night after night, whether I'm in the studio or onstage. S.I.T. has been part of my sound for a long time. I love the consistency, tuning stability and the way they respond to the dynamics of my playing. I can dig in when I need to, pull back when the song calls for it and know they're going to deliver. After more than 15 years together, it's more than an endorsement to me. It's a relationship, and I'm proud to represent a company that still makes its strings right here in Ohio.” — Eric Jerardi
