Derry Grehan is the lead guitarist, primary songwriter, and founding member of Canadian rock band Honeymoon Suite. Over a career spanning more than four decades, Derry has helped shape the band's signature sound through memorable guitar riffs, melodic songwriting, and countless performances across North America and around the world.
As the creative force behind many of Honeymoon Suite’s biggest songs, Derry played a key role in the band’s success throughout the 1980s and beyond, contributing to multiple Gold and Platinum-selling albums while establishing himself as one of Canada’s most respected rock guitarists. His combination of powerful riffs, melodic solos, and songwriting instincts helped create a catalog of songs that continues to resonate with fans today.
While continuing to tour and record with Honeymoon Suite, Derry recently released his first solo guitar album, Dirty Power, showcasing his passion for instrumental guitar music and decades of experience as a player and composer. He also partnered with Godin Guitars to introduce the Derry Grehan Signature Model TR-1 guitar.
With no signs of slowing down, Derry continues to perform, record, and write new music while working on the next Honeymoon Suite studio album.
