Dave Sharpe is a guitarist, songwriter, and touring musician known for his aggressive playing style and deep roots in hardcore and heavy metal. Performing live since the age of 15, Dave has spent decades refining a powerful guitar approach built around precision, intensity, and relentless energy across multiple heavy music genres.
Dave has toured extensively throughout North America and internationally, including major runs with legendary hardcore pioneers Cro-Mags, where he has performed more than 80 shows since joining the band’s touring lineup in 2024. His live experience also includes headline tours, direct support for acts like Helmet on the Look Left North American Tour, and appearances at some of the world’s largest heavy music festivals.
Throughout his career, Dave has performed at major international festivals including No Values in California, Reload Festival, Resurrection Fest, Rockstadt Extreme Fest, Sylak Open Air, and Alcatraz Festival, playing for audiences ranging from intimate clubs to crowds exceeding 40,000 attendees.
In addition to Cro-Mags, Dave is an active writer and performer with Dead by Wednesday, End-Time Illusion through Combat Records, and multiple projects involving David Ellefson. He is also a proud Solar Guitars artist.
Known for his hard picking attack, demanding live schedule, and aggressive performance style, Dave relies on S.I.T. Strings Power Wound 10–52 sets for the durability, brightness, and tuning stability needed to withstand extensive touring and heavy drop tunings.
