Dan Grawbarger is a guitarist, songwriter, and recording artist who has been an active part of the rock and metal community for nearly a decade. Known for his melodic lead work, hard-hitting riffs, and passion for guitar-driven music, Dan has built a reputation as both a performer and collaborator, sharing stages with some of rock's most respected artists.
Throughout his career, Dan has opened for and performed alongside legendary acts including Helix, Theory of a Deadman, George Thorogood, April Wine, Honeymoon Suite, Anvil, and many others. His dedication to the craft and love of classic and modern rock influences have helped establish him as a respected figure within the Canadian rock scene.
On August 27, 2021, Dan released his debut solo instrumental album, Domination, showcasing his songwriting and guitar abilities through a collection of powerful rock and metal compositions. The album featured an impressive lineup of guest guitarists including Glen Drover (Megadeth, Testament, King Diamond), Tracy G (DIO), Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper), Steve Mann (Michael Schenker Group, The Sweet, Lionheart), Derry Grehan (Honeymoon Suite), Steve Smyth (Forbidden, Nevermore, Dragonlord), Brent Doerner (Helix), and Chris Poland (Megadeth).
In addition to his solo work, Dan serves as guitarist for The Wounded Sons, a hard rock band that released its debut album on October 13, 2023. Combining modern hard rock energy with classic influences, the band continues to build momentum through recording and live performances.
