Why S.I.T.?

“I chose S.I.T. Strings because they’ve always felt consistent and reliable whether I’m recording, playing live, or working long theater and touring runs where stability really matters. I use a wide range of sounds, from clean and atmospheric Ebow textures to fusion, rock, and session work, so I need strings that stay balanced under the fingers, hold tuning well, and respond dynamically. My go-to electric set is usually a .009–.042 Power Wound set, and I also use S.I.T. Flatwounds on my jazz guitar and their lap steel sets as well. I’ve always appreciated the consistency and feel of their strings across very different instruments and playing situations.”
