Why S.I.T.?

“I started using S.I.T. Strings almost 30 years ago. In December 1995, I was in a guitar store in Los Angeles and picked up a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe and started playing Jackyl’s ‘I Stand Alone’ riff. All of a sudden, a guy in a mustard suit approached me and asked, ‘Hey, is that Jackyl you're playing?’ I replied, ‘Yeah, I really loved their performance at Woodstock ’94 and became a big fan.’ He then handed me two packs of S.I.T. Strings and said, ‘That’s awesome. Here, these are the strings they use,’ and walked out the door. I instantly fell in love with the feel, durability, and tone of S.I.T. Strings and to this day continue to use S1046 Light and S1052 Heavy Bottom sets. I don’t know who that guy was, but thank you for introducing me to S.I.T. Strings.”
