Ben Elmer

Ben Elmer is a UK based Musician. He plays with many acts and artists across the UK such as Stiff Bizkit (as Wes Borland), up and coming singer-songwriter Connor Adams and has also established himself as a presenter on the Andertons Music Company YouTube channel over the last year taking over the ‘Sound Like…’ series alongside John Connearn. You can often catch him putting S.I.T. Strings through their paces on his own Instagram page and YouTube channel (Ben Elmer Music).

Why S.I.T. ?

“I’ve spent years jumping between different string brands, trying to find the perfect strings that can withstand the aggression I like to play with as well as holding their tuning whilst getting as much life out of the strings as possible. As soon as a friend turned me onto S.I.T. and I put a set on my Les Paul, I knew there was no turning back. Instantly my guitar felt like it had more life and sustain and it made me play with a different attitude. I never feel like they’re going to let me down whatever I throw at them and I couldn’t be more proud to be an S.I.T. artist. I play the Power Wound Nickel 9-42 set for most projects, but for the heavier stuff I play the Power Wound Nickel 11-56 set.”
