Why S.i.T. ?

I started using S.I.T. Strings almost 30 years ago. In Dec 1995, I was in a guitar store in Los Angeles and I picked up a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe and started playing Jackyl’s I Stand Alone riff, all of a sudden I approached by a guy in a mustard suit and he said “Hey, is that Jackyl you’re playing”? I replied “yeah, I really loved their performance at Woodstock ‘94 (I wasn’t there but heard it on BBC radio in Scotland) and became a big fan of theirs.” He then handed me two packs of S.I.T Strings and said “That’s awesome. Here, these are the strings they use.” then walked out the door.

I instantly fell in love with the feel, durability and tone of S.I.T Strings and to this day, I continue to use S1046 Light and S1052 Heavy Bottoms. I Don’t know who the guy was, but thank you so much for introducing me to S.I.T Strings.
