His Power Wound sets are nickel-plated steel over a high carbon steel core, in .045–.105 four-string and .045–.128 five-string, each made in standard long and extra long scale. His Fusion Wound sets use the bonded under-wrap construction for a tighter, more focused low end, in .045–.105 four-string and .045–.125 five-string. If you want either of those gauges from us, these are the only sets that have them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe others have a standard equivalent.\u003c\/strong\u003e Ellefson's four-string Power Wound set is our Power Wound Nickel .045–.105 Medium Light. His Fusion Wound sets, and Mohini Dey's, are our Fusion Wound Nickel .045–.105 Medium Light and .045–.125 Light. Eric Bass's set is our Power Steel Stainless .050–.110 Medium Heavy. Power Steel Stainless is brighter and harder-hitting. Fusion Wound Nickel and Fusion Wound Stainless are the tighter, more focused constructions. Foundations Nickel and Foundations Stainless are brighter and more flexible, Silencer Nickel Semi-Flat cuts finger noise, and Power Flat flatwounds go furthest toward a smooth, mellow response.
