Takayoshi Ohmura is Japanese musician and songwriter. Born in Osaka, his first instrument was the piano, which he began playing when he wa three years old. By the age of 11 he had started to play the acoustic guitar under the influence of his father, moving to the electric guitar at the age of 14. By the age of 17 he had eveloped an interest in foreign hard rock and heavy metal music and devoted himself into it.
Ohmura formed the band Cross Hard in 2005 and released “Eclipse From East” on May 25, 2005. In 2006, along with Cross Hard’s bassist, Kaoru, he formed another band named Gloria and released its first mini-album (MOTIF)on March 26, 2008. A second mini-album (Acrobatic road) was released on January 21, 2009. He has played guitar on tour for Marty Friedman and has either been a member of or performed with among others. At the present in tandem with his solo works, he plays for C4, DC/PRG etc..
He is also an instructor for the Musicians Institute Japan (MI Japan).
