HooGie

HooGie, who hails from Chatham-Kent Ontario Canada, has been a stage manager and backline / instrument technician touring world wide to 65 countries for international acts like Shinedown, Lamb of God, Staind, Breaking Benjamin, Theory of a Deadman, Simple Plan, Sum 41 and Finger Eleven for more than 25 years. Bands he has worked with have had dozens of singles appear on the Billboard music charts, won multiple industry awards, and appeared on countless television programs including Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show and The Late Late Show. 

HooGie was a member of the touring production staff the last 13 years as Eric Bass’s technician for the band Shinedown. He also worked as the Guitar and Bass tech, studio coordinator, and band assistant during the recording of Shinedown’s album “Attention Attention” & “Planet Zero.”

In 2024, HooGie has taken on a new role with Five Finger Death Punch as Zoltan Bathory’s guitar tech and the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Not only on the road with bands, HooGie is the founder of WBGear an Artist Relations group. And an Artist Relations Manager for S.I.T. Strings.
