Evan Blankenship
North to Nashville
Evan Blankenship is the lead singer for North to Nashville, and is also a former Ohio State lineman from 2007-2011. Having shared stages with country music artists such as Luke Combs, Eric Church, Darius Rucker, Old Dominion, Rascal Flatts, Lee Brice, Jake Owen, Cole Swindell, Chris Young, and many more, North to Nashville strives to deliver their audiences more than just a concert, but an energetic country music experience.
North to Nashville in June of 2023 released their debut, self-titled album, which cracked the top 10 Country Albums chart on iTunes. The biggest song on the record, “Whisperin’” topped Music Row’s Top 40 Country Breakout Radio chart as well. They were voted in 2024 as the best band in Columbus, OH from 614 Magazine. Evan and the boys have raised over $125,000 for the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer and the James Cancer Hospital over the last 6 years, and are an entertainment staple on board the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer.
While the Buckeye state has produced country music legends such as Rascal Flatts, Dwight Yoakam, and David Allen Coe, Evan and North to Nashville are working tirelessly on becoming the next great country band from Ohio.
Why S.I.T.?
“I choose to use S.I.T. Strings because first and foremost, I think they sound incredible. I get compliments all the time from engineers about how good my guitar sounds, and a lot of that credit I give to the S.I.T. Strings I put on. Second, they are reliable. I know that I can beat ’em up a bit and I don’t have to worry about strings breaking, even after a long stretch of shows. Lastly, when you add in the fact they are manufactured right here in the great state of Ohio, there’s no strings I’d rather put on my guitars, and no other company I’d rather use, than S.I.T..”
