Why S.I.T. ?
Punch and Longevity. I am fairly picky when it comes to roundwound strings. I never really found one that I saw as “my string” until I discovered S.I.T. They’re known for their tuning stability which is definitely true. They punch through the mix with a very balanced tone and superb playability. I believe this to be thanks to a great core-to-wrap ratio and a great alloy mixture. Lastly, their longevity is among the best. I change strings a lot less frequently than I did before coming to S.I.T.. I use the Fusion Wound 50-105 for roundwounds as well as the Power flats.
