The Joyride is an exciting young pop/rock band from the Vancouver, B.C area. This group formed in March 09 when former members of the group ‘Under the Big Top” - Paul Kinman, Kyle Shields, Trent Otter and Joey Levesque joined up with Front man Colin Grieve to create a dynamic group of young talent. Now with the chops and song writing skills to make a huge impact on the rock/pop scene, they have joined together to create a unique sound that is continuously progressing, with the hook-filled, melodic sound that resonates with the listener.



The band, In its second year , has teamed up with multi-platinum recording Artist Tommy Mac of Hedley and engineer Dean Maher(ACDC,Hedley,Faber Drive,Elton John,Slayer ect..), who are taking this band’s sound to a whole new level. The self-titled E.P. ‘JOYRIDE’, infused with the band’s usual joking, fun-filled attitude has just been completed and released. This EP shows mature musicianship and song writing skills and is just what ‘Joyride’ needs to make an impact on the Canadian music scene and beyond. Currently, ‘Joyride’ is moving whole heartedly into 2010, presenting many live shows, building up a fan base, delivering music and entertainment to the masses.
