A native of Los Angeles, Miiko took up the electric bass at age 15, by which time she already knew her away around the trumpet, flute, piano and guitar. A professional musician working primarily in the L.A. area, Miiko has played everything from punk to art-rock, and now jazz as well; she has performed, recorded and toured with Dave Navarro (ex-Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers), Moris Tepper (Captain Beefheart, Tom Waits), Joey Santiago (ex-Pixies) and a lengthy list of others. And now, she too is Xcited!
