These words have never been more true than with the guitar playing and song writing of Joshua Gropp.

After playing across Ontario for 10 years in the hard rock band Perish and enrolling in the Jazz Guitar Arranging and Performance program at Humber College, Joshua has begun his solo career by combining elements of these and other genres into a unique style demonstrated on his solo debut recording, 2006's Sunsets from Swingsets

Since its release he toured the country 4 times, played over 250 shows, including nearly 150 in 2007 alone, and has received various endorsements including Canadian guitar manufacturers Godin Guitars, strings from SIT Strings and custom picks by In Tune Guitar Picks.

Joshua has now settled in beautiful Stratford, Ontario to continue writing and recording the follow up to Sunsets from Swingsets, and is often performing in and around the city.
