Hachiman
Hachiman

Hachiman is the Shinto God of War and protector of the Japanese people, but we just like the name because it rocks! Hachiman is a loud, in-your-face modern rock band based in Vancouver, Canada. Merging driving drums, epic guitars, growling bass and soaring hook-filled sing-a-long choruses Hachiman is indeed the obvious choice for "those about to rock"... Made up of music industry veterans: brothers- Nick and Jon Morrison and Mark Canty. Hachiman has played all over B.C. and Alberta in 2011 and so far and have sold 1000 physical copies of their CD "Vol. 1" at those shows. Remarks commonly heard after their sets range from "these guys f&%kin' rock" to "wow...they put on a better show than the headliner!" - comments that the band loves to brag about!

iTunes/Amazon and other online music retaliers are also reporting sales as far away as Brazil, Australia and Japan- wIthout any sort of record label or distributor suport!! Heavily focused on playing/promoting live the band has only recently started to promote itself online through www.hachiman.ca, myspace and facebook - where they offer special fan only downloads, run contests and send personal emails to fans.

Hachiman's ENTIRE catalog has now been pre-cleared for all Warner Bros., Paramount, CBS and MTV television/movie productions through publisher VTown Cartel based in Los Angeles California. Hachiman was specially selected to appear with current/former members of Warrant/Testament/Megadeth/KISS and Iron Maiden on "Two Minutes to Midnight: A Millenium Tribute to Iron Maiden" due out in Dec. 2011 from Versailles Records!

Hachiman's music is neither subtle nor delicate, and is not meant for relaxing moments by the pool - it serves one purpose, and one purpose only: To ROCK!
